Michele Schmidt
Bio
Michele joined our laboratory fall 2022 and is currently a Ph.D. student in fiber and polymer science. Prior to joining the laboratory, she earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in textile engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil. Her dissertation research is focused on the structural modification of carminic acid for application in waterless dyeing mediums.
